On 9th of Decemberr 2012, Miss Gbemisola Shontade
wore the crown as Miss UN Tourism 2012 in Jamaica .
The Ogun state born Queen, and student of the university of
lagos, aged 21 was the 1st
runner up at the Miss UN beauty contest which gave her the crown of Miss
Tourism. She also came up with the best costume as judged in the traditional
section of the contest
The contest was participated by beautiful girls from every
part of the world and it lasted for 2 two weeks.
After the contest Miss Gbemisola paid a courtesy visit to
the wife of the ogun state governor Senator
Ibikunle Amosun, Funsho
Miss Gbemisola did not only go home with a crown as Miss
Tourist UN, she also got an opportunity to travel around the carribean and also
got earned $10,000.
