Abia State governor plans a new look for Aba

Abia State Government has decided to give the state a new look by demolishing some of improper structures in the state.

This was disclosed by the Abia state Governor Theodore Orji. He said about 16 roads has been marked for reconstruction and about 1,800 structures will be demolished in Aba, the state capital. The Governor further stated that the reason for this move is make Aba a clean city as it is suppose to be, due to the commercial activities happening in the city The Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Ugochukwu Emezue was addressing journalist in Abuja and further explained that the governor has been doing a lot of governance in the state since he resumed office this second tenor. He also said that if the governor has not been performing, it is because he never met anything on ground to build on. Emezue also said that the N30billion loan that the state governor was paying pack has also been a reason why Abia state has not been worked for a while.
